Caulking - Photos

Before:
Perimeter caulking is separating and failing on this townhome.

After:
The perimeter of the window was primed then caulked and tooled for a watertight seal.

Before:
The sealant around this window has failed allowing for a noticeable gap between the framing and the brick.

After:
Installing backer rod into the joint and then caulking the seam adequately seals the area.

Before:
This perimeter joint sealant failed and corroded, permitting water to leak through the opening.

After:
All defective caulk was removed and a new bead of sealant was applied and tooled for a water-tight seal.

Before:
The expansion joints on this silo were missing caulk so the reinforcing rebar was exposed.

After:
Caulking the expansion joints will protect the infrastructure from water penetration and the rebar from corroding.


Before:
This limestone trim accent piece was deflected due to the failing of the sealant.

After:
The stone pieces were removed, reset and then sealed with the proper caulk.
